لمناسبة الذكرى الاولى لفجيعة الايزيديين وجهت الاميرة عروبة اسماعيل بك رسالة للرئيس الاميركي  باراك اوباما وهذا نصها باللغتين العربية والانكليزية:


رسالة الرمق الاخير من أبناء الشمس الى أوباما،
سيادة الرئيس

جئتم على انكم محررين وأمريكا هي البلد الديمقراطي الاول المدافع عن حقوق الانسان ,   
جئتم الينا بحجة انكم ستسقطون عرش الديكتاتوريه ، وتبثوا روح الديمقراطيه بين مكونات العراق ويكون لكل مكون حقه ونصيبه من العملية السياسيه ،  وأستلم الحكم اعوانكم ولم يرى العراقيون غير الدمار والانفكاك والانحلال في كافة الدوائر والمؤسسات الرسميه للدوله.

جئتم  على انكم مخلصينا من القهر والظلم و لتوحدوا شعب متعدد القوميات والاديان والمذاهب يتساوى الجميع فيه امام القانون , جئتم الينا بحجة  انكم ستزرعون الامان والرضا في نفوسنا ومسلسل القتل والخطف والارهاب منذ عام 2003 لم ينتهي الى يومنا هذا بل أزداد سوءا ودمار ,
لقد دعوتم في كلمة لكم من واشنطن حول مستجدات الوضع في العراق  قادة العراق للاستيقاظ وبذل جهد سياسي لتنحية الخلافات الطائفيه والعمل على تشكيل قوة امنيه فعاله وإلا فان أي مساعدة ودعم خارجي أوأجراء عسكري ضد داعش سوف لن يحقق النجاح .

وها نحن أبناء المكونات الغير مسلمة ( الايزيدييين والمسيحيين والصابئه المندائيين ) ندفع ثمن صراعات قادة العراق المذهبيه والقوميه والسياسيه وأصبحنا حطبأ لوقودهم ..

وعلى أساسها أستغل تنظيم داعش صراعات الاحزاب الحاكمه والفجوه القائمه بين المسؤولين السياسيين  فسلب كرامتنا حين سبى اكثر من 3000 أمرأه يزيديه وزرع الانتكاسه في نفوسنا.
هذا عام يمر علينا  نحن ابناء الشمس ابناء الديانه الايزيديه وعوائلنا تعيش التشرد والانكسار،عام يمر واطفالنا اصبحوا مقاتلين بارعين في مدرسة داعش الارهابيه مسلحين مهيأين للتفخيخ  والعمليات الانتخاريه، عام يمر وارضنا وحضارتنا وتاريخنا مغتصبة بيد الغرباء ، عام يمر ولم تهدأ صرخاتنا ومازالت نشاطاتنا في داخل وخارج الوطن وكل بقاع الارض مستمره ولم نسكت ولم نهدأ خوفا من مصادرة قضية الشعب الايزيدي...
نريد  أن تسجل قضيتنا من قبل مجلس الامن على انها أبادة جماعيه حصلت بحق الايزيديين من قبل داعش بدافع ديني مذهبي تكفيري، وتوفير حماية دولية لنا لاننا فقدنا الامل بأي جهه امنيه تحمينا ، ومرحلة مابعد داعش ستكون الاصعب لان المنطقة ستشهد نزاعات وصراعات وسيخلق جوا مشحونا بين الايزيديه وباقي المكونات المتعايشه في نفس المنطقة قد تؤدي الى حرب أهلية و ساحة للانتقام وتصفيه الحسابات ، لكن بتوفيرالحمايه الدوليه ستجبر الدوله على الالتزام بشروط وقوانين دوليه تضمن لنا ديمومة العيش والاستقرار بامن وأمان .
عام مر ونساءنا مازلن محتجزات لدى داعش والمجتمع الدولي لم يسعى الى مبادرة حقيقية  جادة لتحريرهن.
رسالتنا لأوباما و للانسانيه والعالم اجمع  " ديننا سينقرض فهل منكم من سيبادر للحفاظ على بقايا أبناء الشمس من الانقراض " .

A letter from the princess Yazidi to Obama
Dear Mr. President
You raised to power as a liberator bearing the burden of America's self-proclaimed role as the pioneering force in defense of Human Rights and democracy in the world.
Your country came to Iraq; my country under the pretext of thwarting dictatorship, and upholding democracy in Iraq. However, the promise of inclusive democracy among all Iraqi social and political components hasn't come true.
Your puppets took control, and Iraqis haven't witnessed but destruction, disintegration, and state failure. The U. S. A. came into our land to red us from injustice and to unify a strikingly multi-national, multi-religious, and multi-sectarian society, under the rule of law and equality. Your presence in Iraq was justified by the claim that you will redress our calamity, and put an end the ongoing killing and kidnapping we suffer since 2003 until today.
Mr. President In your remarks on the Iraqi debacle that you delivered in Washington DC, you called upon Iraqi leaders to wake up, and to make every possible political effort to put aside their sectarian differences, and to form a unified and effective security force. You asserted that without realizing this condition any external support or intervention to curb ISIS would fail. Here we are, daughters and sons of non-Muslim fabric of the Iraqi people; Christian Yzidies and Mundanies pay the heavy price of political, sectarian, and ethnic cleavages and conflicts. We became the scapegoat, and the wood for their fire.
ISIS took advantage of the unsacred struggle among ruling parties, and the disintigration of Iraqi polity to gain foothold in our egions and to wage a campaign against our community thorugh which ISIS degregated our humanity by enslaving more than 3000 Yzidie women. A whole year passed since then, and we; KIDS OF THE SUN still live the calamity of displacement, indignity, and humiliation. A year thorugh which, more Iraqi kids have become ruthless fighters with the terroist ISIS, armed to their teeth and wiiling to kill and perpetrate soicide bombings. A whole year in which our historical hiritage and culture is being destroied, robbed, and destructed by aliens. In the past year, we; the Yzidies didn't quit to appeal, and to reach to all related entities all over the world in order to keep our cause alive. Our goal is compele these entities to support our demand that the UN Security Council recognises the crime perpetrated against us by ISIS as a sectarian genocied, and to take action to provide international protection for us. The faliure of the state and security forces in Iraq to provide this protection justifies our claim, especially as the region seems to miltdown dramatically. Such a situation may lead to more crimes uprisal and bloodshid between different groups. International protection under these conditions becomes a necessity, especially for the most vulnirable; the Yzidies. After all our women are still hostages in the hands of ISIS, and the internstional community failed to make any serious effort to free them. Today our cry to President Obama, and to the international community is that our very exestence as a community and as a sect is exposed to actual extinction. The question is, is there any entitiy that would intervene to protect us from extinction?
